We explain the procedure, risks, what's involved and the estimate.

3

Anesthesia and monitoring

Your pet's anesthesia is planned to suit them and monitored during surgery.

4

Pain management

Pain control is part of the plan before, during and after surgery.

Referrals

When your pet needs a specialist.

Some surgeries need specialist skills or equipment that a general practice can't offer. When that's the case, we'll say so plainly and help you arrange the right care.

Choosing referral isn't a step back. It's about getting your pet to the right place.

We may refer you if

The procedure needs a board-certified specialist

Your pet needs advanced imaging or intensive care

Your pet's condition makes surgery here higher risk
